Fortunately, there's a wide range of approaches to anxiety, which is really great, since such a wide spectrum of anxiety exists across so many different people.
Generally, treatments fall into three categories: Cognitive, Biological, and Psychodynamic. Some newer therapies have crossover between all three types.
Like anything, each approach has pros and cons. It's helpful to become familiar with these different approaches, since each unique individual may be resonate with a certain therapy and be more effective for them.
Use the chart below as a reference guide to the various approaches. The Anxious Personality Framework uses a coaching model that has elements of all three approaches, combined with a heavy emphasis on spirituality.
